Challenges Portbury faced before working with Chalkline
Portbury’s IT was previously shared with another firm, and their internal LOB (Line of Business) applications were accessible remotely via VPN.
Portbury engaged with Chalkline in 2023 as they wanted their own dedicated IT environment. This would allow them to increase their security posture, simplify their environment and provide a strong core infrastructure to enable future business growth.

The Solution
Chalkline built a brand new Microsoft 365 tenant with Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses. An Azure Virtual Desktop instance was created to provide secure, simple remote access without needing a VPN client. This was all wrapped around Chalkline’s Managed Services to provide a fully managed solution.
