Hi, I'm Irene, Head of Project Management at Chalkline. I am responsible for the delivery of client projects - from the initial handover and planning, through to implementation, testing, and go live. I coordinate tasks across multiple teams at Chalkline, our client stakeholders and third parties, to ensure a smooth and successful transition for our clients. I am also responsible for the research and development of new products (for example, our Security Bundles), to ensure our solution stack uses the latest available technologies, and we are ahead with the ever-evolving world of cybersecurity.
My current projects at Chalkline
The biggest project I have been working on recently is our internal PSA (Professional Services Automation) migration. Alongside our Technical Director, we have delivered a new platform that has transformed the way we work at Chalkline. This has been quite a project to work on, involving days of workshops, hours of calls with our PSA consultants, and of course endless actions for us to carry out along the way. It was an incredibly challenging project - one that involved a huge amount of complex analysis and evaluation of existing processes, but at the same time it was extremely rewarding to have worked on delivering such an integral change for Chalkline.
My favourite thing about the Chalkline team
The people! We have a lot of fun working together – we’re a very supportive and collaborative team. The variety of work that I get involved in certainly keeps my diary busy too. There’s never a dull moment – if I’m not working on a client delivery, I’m working on an internal piece of dev work, or updating our project plans and process documents.
My hobbies and interests outside of work
I am a massive foodie! I enjoy trying new restaurants and spending the day exploring food markets in London, which gives me inspiration to cook and experiment.
