Application Whitelisting

IT Manager creating an Applications Whitelist

The Challenge:

Your employees are downloading extensions, plugins, configuration files and software libraries. How safe are they?

If you have no whitelist in place, your employees could run files of malicious intent such as malware and viruses and your system will be compromised.

The Solution:

You can create a list of applications that can be accessed by your employees, and they cannot run anything if it's not on this list.

All untrustworthy/unknown software is therefore blocked from running, giving you the choice to only run tested and known applications on your network.

Your team can also request elevated access for certain applications should they need it. This is scoped for the individual application and set time period.

The Outcome:

With only trusted applications permitted to run and every other application denied, you can prevent malicious content infiltrating your devices, being one step ahead of the Cyber Criminals.
